- Black Woman Arise Women’s Health Foundation was invited to Grey College to provide cervical cancer screening for its staff members. This not only strengthened our relationship with the school as an organisation but also provided a unique chance to these staff members who would otherwise not get enough time to visit health facilities to have their Pap smears done. We would like to commend @greykollege for demonstrating a commitment to the health of its staff members as well as to thank Sr Marisa for the invitation and the warm welcoming.

- In an effort to decrease the devastatingly high rates of adolescent and teenage pregnancies, Black Woman Arise Women’s Health Foundation has embarked on providing teenage prevention education to learners in Grade 7 in order to equip them to make informed decisions that will enable them to prevent teenage pregnancy. We started at Grassland Primary School conducting a baseline knowledge assessment to establish what the learners know about sexual reproductive health. We are grateful for @genderlinks and @voiceandchoicefund for making this initiative possible.
